1. Ranau Lake
The Ranau Lake is located at 125 kilometers from Baturaja. Hills and valleys are surrounding the the lake with a 8×16 km area at the foot of the Seminung Hill.
The Curup Tenang waterfall lies at a two hours drive from Palembang. There are a series of waterfalls and rivers in the area. A waterfall has a height of 90 meters and a deep water basin.
The Putri Padang cave is located next to the Windu village, at 35 kilometers from Baturaja. It is 156 meters long and 8-20 meters wide, with a maximum height of 20 meters. This stalagmite cave is an interesting tourist attraction and also has a brook that flows into the Ogan River.
2. Bumi Ayu Temple

Bumiayu temple is one of heritages from Hindu era. It located in coastal river of Lematang, administratively in Bumiayu village, Tanah Abang sub-district, Penukal Abab regency, Pematang Ilir.
This temple is the only complex of temples in South Sumatra. Until today, there are less than 9 temples that been found in this area, and four of them have been restored, those are Temple 1, Temple 2, Temple 3 and Temple 8. This preservation has begun since 1990 till now. This temple complex covers an area of 75.56 ha, with the outer limit of 7 trenches.
The temples in Bumi Ayu are death monument, which mean the monument that had been left. The temple was abandoned as the late decision of Hindu political by the Islamic force in about the 16th century. Then the temples were broken and buried until it rediscovered by EP Tombrink 1864.
3. Ampera Bridge

Ampera Bridge is a Vertical-lift bridge in the city of Palembang, South Sumatra, Indonesia, which is the landmark of the city. It connects Seberang Ulu and Seberang Ilir, two regions of Palembang. It can no longer be opened to allow ships to pass.
The bridge was planned during the era of Indonesia's first president, who wanted a bridge that could open and be a match for London's Tower Bridge. The funds for the construction came from Japanese war reparations, with the Fuji Car Manufacturing Co. Ltd being given responsibility for design and construction. However, at the time, Japan had no bridges of this type, and Fuji Car had no bridge-building experience. The official opening was carried out by Minister/Commander of the Army Lieutenant General Ahmad Yani on 30 September 1965, only hours before he was killed by troops belonging to the 30 September Movement. At first, the bridge was known as the Bung Karno Bridge, after the president, but following his fall, it was renamed the Ampera Bridge.
4. Dempo Mountain
As the highest stratovolcano mountain in South Sumatera, Mount Dempo has rises above Pasumah Plain near to Pagar Alam. This mountain is close to Bengkulu province and it has seven craters around the summit. When visiting the mountain, there will be lake that founded at northwest end for about 400 m wide. The latest activity from the mountain is happened in 2009, when it being small to moderate explosive that produced ash fall near the volcano.
Located right on the border between the provinces of South Sumatra and Bengkulu on Sumatra’s west coast, Mount Dempo lies in Pagaralam, and it entirely surrounded by hills and mountain ridges. It takes some 7-hours driving to reach Pagaralam from Palembang, and then another 15 kilometers from the center of Pagaralam to Mount Dempo. The trip will significantly amazing, since you will be presented with fantastic scenery of cliffs and valleys accompanied by fresh, unpolluted air.
5. Putri Bekhusek
the meaning of Putri Bekhusek is a princess that playing. This traditional dance is genuinely comes from Ogan Komering Ulu regency, South Sumatra. This dance is also a symbol of the wealthiness of South Sumatra.
The movements withing the dance are very delicate and elegant. This dance is played by some women in group by wearing traditional wardrobe of South Sumatra.
