1. Tanggo Rajo
The Tanggo Rajo is not different from the Kapuas Town Square aor Losari Beach which offers the culinary tour at its waterfront. The place which is visited the most in the afternoon and evening is a good place to enjoy the view of Batanghari river, which is the longest river in Sumatra.
Besides the view of Batanghari river and the sunset, you can also taste the culinary tour available around the place. waiting for sunset moment while eating the roasted corn with the people you love will be quite fun. at the weekend, the site is crowded by the fisherman.
Besides as the recreational site, Tanggo Rajo is often used as the location of Jambi’s anniversary or other big events. The tourist site is located in Sultan Thaha, Pasar Jambi.
Mount Kerinci is the highest volcano in Southeast Asia. The mountain, which has a height of 3,805 meters above sea level, was last erupted in 2009. Mount Kerinci is included in Kerinci Seblat National Park area. The only climbing route to the peak of Mount Kerinci is through the Kersik Tuo Village. The climbing route is not easy but has a clear path. Along the climbing route, there are 6 points consisting of 3 climbing post and 3 climbing shelters. Many climbing shelters are used as locations for camping.
The climb to the summit takes about 12 hours. Arriving at the peak of Mount Kerinci we can see the amazing panorama of the volcano crater. This crater has a depth of nearly 600 meters. The sunrise view from the top of the mountain will be an unforgettable experience. Mount Kerinci is located in Kersik Tuo Village, Kayu Aro, Kerinci Regency. Visitors need to register themselves before climbing.

3. Muaro Jambi
The next best thing is visiting Muaro Jambi Temple Compound. It is a relic of the Srivijaya Kingdom, around the 9th – 12th century AD. The compound was first discovered by an Englishman, S.C. Crooke, in 1824. In 1975 the Indonesian government made a restoration on this site. There are a total of 61 temples in this compound. Most are still in the process of digging.The temples, that have a Buddhist-Hindu style, are different from the temples in Java. The temples are not made of natural stone but are made of red brick. Muaro Jambi Temple Compound is the largest and most well preserved temple compound on the island of Sumatra. Muaro Jambi Temple Compound is located in Danau Lamo, Maro Sebo, Muaro Jambi Regency.

4. Jambi Mini Park and Jambi Jungle Park

The Mini Park is a tourist site in Jambi which presents cultural miniature of the province. The concept is similar to Mini Park in Jakarta, which presents the typical custom building of the region. The difference is if Jakarta’s present the entire culture of Indonesia, the Jambi’s only presents its own culture.
